Baby Allie is just the cutest thing ever!  She is so little and sweet.  And here she is at eleven days old.  She preferred being in her Mommy’s arms for her pictures.  It was a fun shoot full of laughing, lots of baby pee and a big poop for Mom.  Thanks for a fun morning!IMG_0757 bw webI love baby feet!IMG_0769 webAnd her nursery is beautiful.  I love how it is decorated.IMG_0823 webIMG_0847 webIMG_0886 bw webThis happens to be one of my favorite hand feet shots ever.  I just love the look of it.IMG_0897 webYou don’t find babies much sweeter than this.IMG_0924 webIMG_0928 bw webIMG_0976 bw web

The Norton’s were such a fun family to shoot.  They had a fun energy and were so happy.  Honestly watching their four kids interact so great together was one of my favorite parts of the day.  They were kind and sweet to each other and that made for a fabulous shoot!  The parents adore each other.

When I moved to Indianapolis I met Kristy.  Kristy and I became instant friends.  I would be willing to say that she probably knows me better than most people here.  She has a keen ability to know what is up with me when no one else does.  Last summer we ran together and biked together.  This summer I decided exercise was overrated and I missed hanging out with her as often but I didn’t miss the workouts.  Who needs them?

A couple of weeks ago.. I am late on this blog I had the chance to shoot her wonderful family.  They are characters.  And each have their own unique personality and were a lot of fun.  I love shooting families I know and getting to know them better.  It was a fun time!  Thanks for the laughs and good time!

Saturday I had the opportunity to capture Bri and Tim’s wedding.  I normally get to meet my clients ahead of time, but they were coming in from Florida and Bri’s fabulous sister had been my contact.  I love my clients and getting to know them.  Bri and Tim were fabulous.  They dealt with our chilly day quite well and we were able to capture a lot of fun moments.  Thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day.

Swim Meet

October 3, 2009

I am not a sports photographer.  I don’t pretend to be.  I am an extremely proud Mom.  Who loves watching her son excel and do what he loves.

Little Man was extremely excited about his first swim meet.  The smart coaches wrote all of their race info on their arms so they would be ready for their race when it was time.IMG_4945 webLittle Man worked hard on his first race.  He did well.  He had a false start.  Strangely I think that helped to get the jitters over.  He seemed to relax and his nerves melted away.
IMG_5053 webHe rocked the backstroke.  I think that was his strongest race.  It was close.  He placed 5th.  But 2-6 were all within hundredeths of a second from each other.IMG_5215 webAnd his final race was with kids 7-14.  He is 7.  IMG_5226 web

He loved diving into the pool from the starting blocks.  IMG_5228 web

I will be honest I think I have enough pictures I could almost make every race into a flip book and you would feel like you were right there.  My throat hurt after the meet, I cheered for my son as loud as I could.  I cheered for his friends and for our friends children also.  It reminded me of being a kid and playing basketball and softball.  My parents were always there cheering me on.  I love that I can be there to do that for my kids now.IMG_5232 webIMG_5240 web
