I was so excited when the *F* family contacted me to do their shoot. I had met them at different Down Syndrome Association of the Mid-Columbia that I attend with my sister. And they are such a fun family I knew it would be a great shoot. We lucked out with some beautiful January weather. Lucky me!
We started with a big group shot.
And then we capture the cousins together.
I love how sweet this family is together.

When I first started my business back in 2007 the Smith Family took a chance on me. And after several years, and me moving all over, they are still wonderful clients. They have blessed my life in so many ways. I am so grateful to have them in my life. And I am excited to share some of their images from our bitter cold December shoot.
It all started with Kristi and Steve. These two have so much fun together.
They were blessed with many wonderful children. As tradition has it there is always at least one missing every year.
I love this shot of Kristi with her daughters. What a beautiful bunch of women. I am so blessed to know each of them. 
All of the family that was there. And I love that every year we do their pictures on their property.

I have so many pictures to blog.. time to get it done!
I blogged these adorable kiddos last year, and I am lucky enough to be their Aunt and get to capture their sweet faces. We had beautiful light and I loved the colors and the great summery feel these images have.
The kids are total characters and keep me giggling, and running around.
I think these shots really show their personalities. Love these kids!

I am always excited when I get to take pictures for longtime friends. And I am somewhat nervous. They know how truly.. I am not even sure what the right word is.. weird/crazy/nerdy/clumsy/goofy/silly/fill in the blank that I really am. And Tracy tends to know an awful lot about me. Like how I trip on black lines on the basketball court. So I always hope that I don’t land on my face and make a complete fool of myself. Or that I don’t drop my camera, or a lens. And thankfully I didn’t do any of those things on this shoot. *Phew*
I like to talk about Pomeroy.. it’s a fun place I love, and had I not lived there Tracy wouldn’t have become one of my dear friends. She’s tall like me. That made her my instant friend. But she is kind and loving, and always ready to laugh at me or with me depending on the situation. Tracy is one of the best people I have ever met. And I was so excited to go to charming Waitsburg, Washington to take their family pictures. I think I am a little jealous she gets to live in such a cute town. But I would miss the shopping. You know, like Costco.
Meet Tracy and Charlie and their cute kiddos. And Angela and Randy and their cute son. Angela and Charlie are siblings.
I loved how sweet Angela and Randy were with their son. You can feel the love.
Charlie and Tracy dated while we were in High School. They have pretty cute kiddos. And Tracy even lets me call them by the wrong name. Some friend I am huh?
These 4 kiddos melted my heart. 
I love the four of them together. You know Grandma is going to love this!
And lastly a fun sibling shot. Those eyes.. they are amazing!
Tracy, Charlie, Randy, and Angela, thank you for enduring an evening with crazy me. I loved every minute of it and I think I need come back to Waitsburg for more pictures. It was fabulous to hang out with you.

From 9-11 AM in Columbia Park. You will get all the info after you book. :)
For $25 per child, I will spend 5 minutes with each of your children. Just time enough to capture a few fabulous shots of them. Your pictures will be fully edited and presented in an online gallery. The $25 pays for the sitting fee and ONE fully edited high-resolution file (in color and black and white) with rights to print. If you decide you would like all 3 files, the cost is only $15 more.

I had the most delightful Thanksgiving. Full of many things to be grateful for. I loved that we had tons of snow for Thanksgiving. I think this was my first white Thanksgiving ever. And probably my last. This year was somewhat of a novelty. As I reflected on my blessings my family was at the top of my list of things to be grateful for. And then I went through a variety of other things, but I have to admit that my clients are pretty high up there. They bless my life in so many ways. I am so blessed to get to meet all sorts of wonderful people and call them my friend. I am allowed into their homes, I am blessed to sneak a peek into their lives and see them for the wonderful people that they are. And capture their sweet moments. I love my job. :)
Now on to the reason you are here. To see the pictures. :) Lauren emailed me way back in July to do her maternity pictures for her sweet baby boy who will be making his arrival in just a few weeks. I always love it when clients are already thinking months in advance. :)
First some pictures of Lauren. She looks beautiful!
And then a few of Jonathan and Lauren. I love, love, love shooting people in their element. I feel like it captures a little bit of who they are. And they were so great to let me move things around, open blinds and get the right light. 
And then we had to get a few with the big sister. Isn’t she adorable?
And like all little girls, she needed a few shots of her own. 
And then we finished with a nice family portrait of this adorable family!

I am always so grateful when my clients refer me new clients. That is how the *Z* family found me. I have the best clients ever! Thank you!!
Sunday night we had a snow storm roll in. I was curious to see if we were really going to get THAT much snow. I woke up pleasantly surprised on Monday morning. And I was also very curious what the *Z* family was going to want to do. Thankfully they are like all of my clients, complete rockstars and they braved the chilly snow at 8:30 in the morning. We did a fast shoot. It was cold, and the kids did a great job, their parents should be so proud of them. They were well behaved and dealt with the cold quite well. I am so grateful that they were willing to go out in the snowy cold. I am so happy with the result of the snowy morning. And here are a few that I love.
They are moving to Cashmere, Washington where Joe is going to be a dentist. They needed a new family picture for his practice. Pretty cool huh? And if you are in Wenatchee make sure you go support this awesome family! Go HERE to get all of the details! They are super kind and Lyssa is super creative. You’ll want to be her new best friend.
And here they are. I love the sweet interactions they had.
I love this shot. It makes me happy. I think they could be on a ridiculously cute Hallmark Card and it would sell like mad.

I will admit it, I am WAY behind on my blogging. I am attempting to make it up. I hate to miss a session on my blog. So you might be seeing pictures that are well over a month old. But I love my clients and want them to have their time to shine, so I am going backwards and catching up. And I really need to be a better blogger. I know, I say that all of the time. But I am really working on it!
The *R* Family won my giveaway right after I moved back to the Tri-Cities. I had so much fun getting to know them and really enjoyed their family session. I loved watching them interact and their boys are the cutest kids ever. We were lucky to have a warm fall day for their pictures. I am missing that weather. But alas winter is encroaching on us. And did I just say alas? I am letting my inner nerd shine through or something.
Back to the pictures. Love this family. I feel so blessed to know the people I do, and to photograph the amazing families.

It’s the time of year where I am blessed to photography many families. I love the sweet interaction I get with families. And this family was so fun! I have gotten to know them from Tae Kwon Do. The boys are orange belts, just like my boy. And Amy and I have gotten to know each other through the countless hours we spend at Tae Kwon Do. I think it is my mental health time. I love the Mom’s I visit with there.
Back to the family. The boys are adorable. And sweet. Amy and Glenn are wonderful together, and I am so grateful they braved the cold morning to go out and capture their family.
