Part of why I love photography and my clients are because of the reactions from people when they see their pictures. I love when I show my children their picture on the LCD screen. I recently received a fabulous Thank You from a client and it said, “A picture is worth a thousand words, and a thousand pictures are worth more words than we can express.” Their sweet note of gratitude made my heart swell. It’s the moments like those that I love. That is why I love what I do. My clients are wonderful. They are a blessing in my life. Every single one of them.
In honor of loving my clients. And because I believe in giving back, I am implementing a new program. I want to pay it forward. I have had people be so generous and kind to me I want to do the same. You may nominate people for a free shoot. Email me at photographybyleeann@gmail.com and tell me why they are deserving of a free shoot. This will be an ongoing thing, I cannot wait!! So tell your friends and spread the word.
And thanks Misty for the fabulous idea!

Happy Birthday.. Happy, Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday.. to me!
I’m 30.
Today I woke up and helped get my children ready. One child made it one the bus. One child missed the bus.
Randy and I ate lunch together. Thank you Taco Time.
I picked the kids up from school and then it was off to Tae Kwon Do.
We celebrated with yummy ice cream cake.
And a delicious Costco-Asian dinner.
It was a busy day where I bustled around being Mom and getting things done. And I love every minute of it. And this picture is the best gift I could ever have, my kiddos, Randy and me.
Happy Birthday, to me!

I love ice cream. Like a lot. I happen to love Black Licorice the most. A few weeks ago our family happened into a fantastic little diner in Richland, Rosy’s Diner. It has the best ice cream ever. I looked around this shop and I knew that I had to being Matt and Andrea here. Andrea and I met for lunch and to discuss her upcoming wedding and I told her about my idea, and thankfully she likes ice cream too, and they were sold. Have I mentioned how awesome my clients are?
Matt and Andrea are getting married in one month and I am so excited that I get to shoot their wedding. It is going to be a fabulous event.
We started at Rosy’s they were loving their Chocolate Malt. And I love the Sailor kissing his girl right above them. Perfect!
I love it when clients have props that they want to use. Like the vintage bikes you see in this shoot. Matt works for a local bike shop as a Manager, so it was fitting to have bikes in the shoot.
Andrea has the cutest little girl. She was more than happy to carry balloons and join in on the fun. Doesn’t she just melt your heart?
This is my favorite shot from their session. Love this.
We finished our night hoping for a fabulous sunset. But the clouds rolled in. Instead we went for Tri-City scenery. It was complete with wild flowers, sage brush and a few tumbleweeds.
Shortly after I took this shot I saw a snake at my feet. I am convinced it was a rattle snake that wanted to eat me. So I did what any responsible adult would do, I looked at my couple screamed and ran and told them to get out of the dirt. First class, I’ll tell ya. It was awesome. I am sure that was the highlight of their night. I guess I have a slight phobia of snakes.

Andrea and Matt are no different. Their shoot was so fun. It was full of laughter, and good times.

Sweet Baby Liam, only 8 days old.
So little, so precious.
I was very excited to take Liam’s baby pictures, especially since his sweet Mom happens to be my best friend. He was sweet and mellow and ready for his photo shoot. I think I was more excited to meet him, than he was to meet me.
He started out very sleepy.
And then we took his clothes off. He even smiled a little, I think he liked being naked.
Then it was back to sleep for just a minute.
And then he woke up. Wide eyed and ready to take it all in. I loved all of the great eye contact.
He looks like a wise old soul in this picture.
These next two capture Tiffany as a Mother, they embody who she is.
Welcome to the World baby Liam.

The Mowrey’s. I love this family. And I don’t say that about all families.
When we moved to Indy, so did they, just days apart. And we became instant friends. They are one of those families that you have to love. And their kids are about the cutest kids ever! Who wouldn’t love a family that keeps you laughing all of the time.
For their shoot we started at the Conseco Field House where the Pacers play!! GO PACERS! Alan works there and we figured it was a great place to start. It was cold. There was still snow on the ground, but they worked it.
Sometimes when you are hanging out you have to bust a move. And they can!
I love moments like these. I believe all couples need them, even years after they were married. I love peeking into their love.
I believe that the almost kiss is better than the kiss.
Can you see her feet? That girl was flying and giggling the whole time!
And the kids.
See, really, really, really cute.

Thanks for hanging out with me one more time before we moved. It was fun and your family is adorable!!
