One

April 23, 2010

Today I ran ONE whole mile. I am so proud of myself. Really, I am. And I am laughing at how excited I am at my accomplishment of running one mile straight. But it’s the little things in life right? After not running for over eighteen months, and not doing much at all in the last nine months I decided I was going to run today, and see if I could run a mile. I did. I didn’t stop once. Now I have this grand idea of running more, and more, and more. At least I could do one. I don’t think a bear would chase me that far.

Sweet Baby Liam, only 8 days old.

So little, so precious.

I was very excited to take Liam’s baby pictures, especially since his sweet Mom happens to be my best friend.  He was sweet and mellow and ready for his photo shoot.  I think I was more excited to meet him, than he was to meet me.

He started out very sleepy.IMG_1164 web
And then we took his clothes off.  He even smiled a little, I think he liked being naked.IMG_1216 webThen it was back to sleep for just a minute.IMG_1239 web
And then he woke up.  Wide eyed and ready to take it all in.  I loved all of the great eye contact.IMG_1297 web

April 12, 2010

We have a winner on my very first give away.  Thank you to all who entered!  I love that so many people were excited to enter a shoot with me!

Congratulations Juliet! Be on the lookout for an email from me!

And if you entered and did not win make sure you take advantage of the $50 off, and the first 5 shoots I book get an even better special.  It’s good to be back!

The Mowrey’s.  I love this family.  And I don’t say that about all families.

When we moved to Indy, so did they, just days apart.  And we became instant friends.  They are one of those families that you have to love.  And their kids are about the cutest kids ever!  Who wouldn’t love a family that keeps you laughing all of the time.

For their shoot we started at the Conseco Field House where the Pacers play!!  GO PACERS!  Alan works there and we figured it was a great place to start.  It was cold.  There was still snow on the ground, but they worked it.

IMG_7810 webSometimes when you are hanging out you have to bust a move.  And they can! IMG_7842 webI love moments like these.  I believe all couples need them, even years after they were married.  I love peeking into their love.IMG_8480 webI believe that the almost kiss is better than the kiss. IMG_8485 webCan you see her feet?  That girl was flying and giggling the whole time!IMG_8856 webAnd the kids.

See, really, really, really cute.
