Feeling a little HAPPY!

February 17, 2011

I love my job.  I truly do.  I have the best clients.  I have the best job.  I have the best hours.  I am one lucky girl to do what I love.  And I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for this blessing every.single.day.

Today I am feeling extra blessed.  I still have my sick little girl at home.  But my wonderful Mother blessed me and graciously watched her today so I could go out and give back.  I was able to go shoot a wonderful makeover for Laura.  She won a makeover of donated services from Make You Over.  Chelsea pulls this all together.  She does the clothing, and the sponsors.  Eden Salon and Day Spa does all the pampering, they are awesome.  Angus Square Dental did the teeth whitening, and I am the lucky girl who gets to see it happen and capture the hot after pictures.  It was great to see Laura and her transformation.  She is one hot Momma!  I love the opportunity to give back.  It truly blesses my life.

And then I came home and found out that I was featured on Apple Brides!  I am so excited!  Today was a great day.  One that I am feeling truly blessed for.

And lastly, a sneak peek at the hot new Laura!

Blessings

In life we are given many blessings.  Some big and obvious.  Some little.. tiny, things that we don’t always recognize as blessings at first.

Today I am grateful for the tiny ones.  My Little Miss, is still sick.  But she is finally on the mend after 12 days of being sick with chicken pox.  I was told her case should be mild.  It wasn’t.  But it wasn’t as severe as her brother’s.  A blessing.  And because of this blessing I was able to slow down, and spend a large amount of one on one time with her.  She should have been at school.  And normally I am running around all day spinning my wheels in all directions.  The pox forced me to slow down.  A blessing.  We giggled.  We made cookies.  We read books.  We watched movies.  We snuggled for more hours than I ever thought was possible.  We counted spots.  We had the best time.  And I am grateful for her pox.  They have been a blessing.  My photography calendar for January was mild, a huge blessing so I could just take care of my girl.  Blessings that don’t appear to be blessings are the best ones.

And here my sweet girl is with Snowball just before the pox came on.  And she is a BIG blessing.  Lucky me!
