I love the opportunity to travel.  And for me traveling and shooting weddings, makes for a delightful time!

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to go to St. George, Utah for a wedding.  I had never been there and was super excited to see somewhere new and check out the beautiful St. George Temple, where Aaron and April were married.

April has two adorable girls, I started with pictures of them.
And then we took some of Aaron and April before the ceremony.
And we captured the new family together.

Everyone was so excited for them to come out of the Temple.
The next day we did more pictures and they had their reception in Bicknell, Utah.  Another new to me place.  I fell in love with it there.  In fact I was plotting how I could move there.  But I don’t think it will happen.  Aaron owns a ranch, and has cows, horses and grows his own hay.  It’s really awesome.  We took pictures at his ranch, with his hay, his horse, his land.

I love how blissfully happy they are together.
Aaron gave April cowboy boots.  She rocks them.
I love love love horses.  And I love this picture.
And these pictures.

Congratulations on your new life together.  Thank you for letting me capture your special moments!

I have so many pictures to blog.. time to get it done!

I blogged these adorable kiddos last year, and I am lucky enough to be their Aunt and get to capture their sweet faces.  We had beautiful light and I loved the colors and the great summery feel these images have.
The kids are total characters and keep me giggling, and running around.
I think these shots really show their personalities.  Love these kids!

Thanks for hanging out with your crazy Auntie.  It was tons of fun!  Love ya!

It’s fall.  That means the air is getting crisper.  The leaves are starting to change.  Pumpkins are turning orange.  Apples are getting ripe….. and..

It’s family picture time!  And let me tell you, this fall is crazy.  I only have two openings left for the year.  So if you are thinking about booking a family session it’s going to go quick.  And right now the weather is gorgeous for it.

Meet Billy and Amanda.  They have the most adorable children, 3 handsome boys.
I love this family.  They are so beautiful, and they are super nice.  We met them after moving back to Kennewick.  And I am so grateful to know them!
These three boys kill me.  They are so sweet and funny.  And I love the blonde hair, blue eyes combo.  Handsome.
Randy and I have been married longer than Billy and Amanda.. by one day.  And look at how sweet and in love they still are.  It makes me happy.
We hung out with the horses a little bit.  I love horses.. like a lot.  They make me happy.  I love their smell, their sounds, everything about them.  I was super excited to get a few pictures of them with the horses.
And the horses even jumped in the pictures.  I love it!

Thank you for entrusting me to capture this time in your life.

Today I am excited to post a quick sneak peek from a wedding I shot today!!!  I am so proud of myself getting them up on the blog in the same day.  And I even went to the gym today.  That’s a productive day, but enough about me.

Matt and Laurel were married today in the Richland Lutheran Church.  They had a beautiful day, and I am excited to share a few sneak peeks to tide them over until they are all ready.

Laurel was a stunning bride.

And they are such a beautiful couple, they take amazing pictures.  And Matt looks so distinguished.
I love how much they radiate their love for one another.

Matt and Laurel, it was so fun to be able to witness such a beautiful day.  Thanks for putting up with me and letting me capture your day!  Congratulations!!

I am sitting here and just realized today is September 14.  Seriously the month is half over already?  Where did the first half go?

On September first I drove up to Yakima to meet up with Allan and Molly, and Molly’s sweet daughter.  Allan and Molly are engaged!  I love, love, love, love engagement pictures.  It’s such a fun way to get to know your couples, and it helps them to know what being in front of the camera is like with crazy me operating it.  I always like to have a chance for the to get used to my style before their wedding day.  And I love getting to know them and their love story even more.

Allan and Molly started dating after YEARS of their friend Rachel hounding them to meet.  Neither one was really ready for a while but finally they met, long distance.  Molly was in Boise, Allan was in Yakima, and lucky for them LaGrande, Oregon was a good half way point.  Rachel, you totally knew what you were doing setting these two up.  :)  I don’t think they could find a better match for each other.  And just hanging out with them you can feel their love for one another.  After some long distance dating Molly moved closer.. and then really close.  Finally these two are tying the knot in just over a month or so.  I can’t wait to capture their wedding!

Meet Allan and Molly, plus Molly’s adorable daughter.

I love the old trains in Yakima.  It was fun to shoot somewhere different!
They are such an adorable family.
I love this fun series.  Katie makes me giggle.
Allan and Molly, this set captures you.  So sweet and fun, and full of love!
Their eyes are gorgeous!

Congratulations on your engagement!  I am so honored to be able to capture your special day!

I am excited to finally be blogging this fabulous family!!  They are near and dear to my heart.

We have been friends for 5 years now, and I am so grateful for such wonderful people in my life.  Aaron and Allison are super funny and great to hang out with.  They are some of our best friends and I always have lots of fun with them.  And they have three of the cutest boys ever.
Aaron and his boys.  Watch out world!
I love how cute Aaron and Allison are together.  They are such a perfect match.
I love these images.  They make me happy.
Allison is such a great boy Mom.  And it’s obvious her boys adore her.  She’s a great Mom!
And lastly check out these three boys.  They are so sweet and they are just adorable.

Aaron and Allison, thanks for letting me capture your family.  It is always fun to spend time with your family.  And thanks for trekking all over with me!

I am pretty lucky.. I have lots of older brothers, four.  Some people might not see how lucky I am.  There were things in my childhood I had to endure, but my brothers grew up.  They turned into great men, and they married amazing women.  And lucky me Erik married Julie.  Most people think Julie is my sister over Erik being my brother.  I’ll take it.  I still remember the first time I met her.  I was a little hesitant wondering what type of girl would date my brother.  I was 14 at the time and I was sure she wouldn’t be any fun or anyone I would really like.  But I was dead wrong.  Julie came into the family and just joined in whatever we were doing.  She treated me like I mattered.  And at 14 that was a pretty big deal.  She was interested in me and listened.  I was liking her a lot.  And thankfully she married my brother.  She has been a part of my life for almost 17 years now, I can’t imagine life without such a great sister in my life.

They came to visit this year from Minnesota.  When we lived in Indianapolis I was able to see them more often.. you know since we were close, (it was only a 12 hour drive).  And I was super excited to see them and see their boys, and their baby girl.  Although she could have done without meeting me.  Just ask her.

My nephews totally make me giggle.  Check out the shot of the three of them together.  Love their personalities.
Erik is an amazing Dad.  And I knew he would melt with a baby girl.. my girl loves to hang out with her Uncle Erik.
After 15 years of marriage these two are still so perfect for each other.  I couldn’t have picked a better wife for Erik.
And Julie, this shot of you.. this is who I see when I look at you.  This is the type of Mother you are.  I love it.

Thank you for trusting me to capture your family.  I miss and love you!!

I remember a long time ago.  Like 18 years ago a baby boy being brought to Church.  My friend’s Mom had a new baby.  Later on my friend shaved the head of that little baby.  He had no hair, and his Mom wasn’t too happy.  And then my friend did it again.  His Mom still didn’t like it.  Then this family moved away.  We moved away and life went on.  Fast forward and the baby is a Senior in High School.  I remember when he was born, I was 13!  Sorry Chad if that embarrasses you but that’s what I remember.

Meet Chad.  He’s not bald and his nice hair.  He reminds me a lot of his two oldest brothers.

Chad is a Senior at Kamiakin this year.  Lucky kid!
He is a runner.
And the camera loves him.

Thank you Chad for letting me capture your Senior Pictures!  Enjoy the year!

I am not even sure how to start this post.  I have so many thoughts and emotions as I sit down to right it, and I was looking over the pictures and deciding what ones I wanted to blog and I just sat here and looked at this family.  They are an amazing family.  I adore them and wish that everyone could know them.  They are that wonderful.

You can read about them on their blog.  They have three beautiful girls.  And their baby girl was born with different challenges for this life, but her little spirit shines and love pours off of her.  And her sisters, well I don’t think she could have been blessed with any better sisters.  They adore their baby sister.  It makes me wish I had three girls of my own.  And in case you didn’t know, my heart melts for those kids who have different challenges.  They are truly amazing.

Meet the three sisters.  Beautiful girls huh?

I loved watching Don with his baby girl.  It was so sweet to watch him interact with her.  All Dad’s should be like this.Every night Good Night Moon is read in their house.  It was the perfect thing to bring to a photo shoot.
This family shot makes me happy.  They are a beautiful family.  And their love radiates.
Lisa, you are the Mom that radiates the example we should all look at.  I love this set of you and your baby girl.  She is so in love with her Mama.
And baby girl, I love her.  Love her personality and expressions.
The little big sister.  She is full of spunk.  And she makes me giggle.
The big sister.  She is so sweet and fun.  And I love her brown eyes.
And finally all couples need a few great shots together.  I love how in love they are after 11 years.

Don and Lisa, I loved capturing your family.  Thank you for letting me into your life.  I came home from your shoot elated.  I am grateful for families like yours.
